Somehow I found myself listening to the February 2002 TED talk by Stephen Petranek on 10 ways the world could end.
What is striking is that unless you notice the talk date, you could believe this talk was given yesterday. It is still relevant to us in May 2008.
I highlight this not only because of its content, but also because the presentation an excellent model of an effective and engaging presentation.
